Stayed tuned for another exciting post within the next week!
We did a test sending to 100 emails in one shot. This was a “complete” e-mail with both a length text and HTML version. We also enabled link and read tracking.
- Using the old method, it took 300 seconds.
- Using the new method, it took just 44 seconds!.
As you can see, this is a major improvement! Just one of the many improvements you can expect to have in SonicMailer Pro v4!

The day IE 7 is released is the day many websites will “break”. The main problem is that the current version of IE has extensive rendering issues as per the standards. As a result, hacks or fixes had to be created to mimick the functionality for Internet Explorer users. The problem now, is that IE 7 has been improved and complies with the standards more accurately, and as a result, all these hacks and fixes only break the display.
Virtually every single modern website will need to be adjusted appropriately so that it displays and functions correctly in both IE 6 and the new IE 7.
We’ll see how things go!
- Added AJAX throughout administration area to avoid unnecessary pageloads!
- Added AJAX option for each administrator - to enable or disable
- Added “send to a friend” message code
- Added “Date subscribed” to send & search filters
- Fixed problem with autoresponders sent in HTML format
- Corrected issue when sending a message from a URL
- Fixed problem with some statistics graph displays on PHP 5
- Removed some fixed data in RSS feeds
- Corrected problem where preset fields would show up with custom subscriber fields
- Fixed issue when searching using created search filter
- Fixed problem with custom fields not selectable for send filters.
Of course, current customers can immediately download the new version from the client area
